The Planning Methods and Tools department at Sandvik Coromant is responsible for developing and supporting the End to End Planning Process. We are now looking for a Process Expert for Statistical Forecast and Stock Control. This position is part of a group of five process experts in Supply Chain Planning, responsible for different areas in our department: Demand planning, Inventory Planning and Supply Planning. The team of experts is located in Sandviken.
Key performance areas
As a Process Expert in Statistical Forecast and Stock Control, you support and promote the Coromant Planning business objectives by initiating, coordinating and streamlining process development activities in the area of demand, inventory and supply planning. You establish an efficient workflow by using best practice within the process or area, and collaborate with process experts and other stakeholders to support development and improvements of the planning processes. While maintaining focus on cost and effective planning methods, tools and solutions, you lead projects and inform stakeholders about the status and impact of changes initiated and implemented by Coromant Planning, in order to achieve understanding, commitment and a sustainable change. To achieve our goals, you keep up-to-date with a variety of Supply Chain concepts, practices, and solutions and ensure continuous improvements and coordination of the Sales and Operations Planning processes. Moreover, you develop, revise and maintain process and routine descriptions and documentation in the areas of Statistical Forecast and Stock Control processes.
Some international travel is included in this position.
Your profile
A degree in Logistics is mandatory for this position and experience in Demand Planning, Inventory Planning and Supply Planning is advantageous. To work with us, you also need to have a APICS CPIM certificate in Production and Inventory management and all our staff have this certificate according to our development plan. However, if you are the right candidate for us, we can provide the necessary CPIM certification after you begin your employment with us. You have excellent skills in Excel (including Power Pivot) and Access, while SAP system knowledge is an advantage. As we work in an international setting you need fluency in English, both in speaking and in writing.

With good communication and pedagogical skills, you manage stakeholders and presentations and implement new or changed processes to improve the business.
