Programme Officer Organizational Development and Capacity Building ANPPCAN

The African Network for the Prevention and Protection against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN) Uganda Chapter is a national child focused organization working to protect and promote the rights of children with particular focus on preventing and redressing violations of children's rights.

ANPPCAN Uganda Chapter seeks to recruit competent dynamic and creative individuals to join her team of passionate child advocacy professionals in the following positions;

Position Description: Programme Officer Organizational Development and Capacity Building
Reports to: Programme Coordinator Organizational Development
Duty Station: National Secretariat, Kampala
Major Responsibilities

Programme Development:
Spear head and ensure the preparation and submission of winning funding applications for ANPPCAN Uganda Chapter's programme development

District Branch Coordination:
Ensure effective flow, coordination and management of information between ANPPCAN Secretariat and her District Branches and Field offices and provide technical support in the implementation of project activities at district level.

Monitoring and Evaluation:
Support and undertake programme monitoring and evaluation responsibilities across the entire spectrum of ANPPCAN's interventions.

Job requirement

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
*Minimum of a Degree in Social Work and Social Administration, Social Sciences, Project Planning and Management, Development Management or research and information related field obtained from a recognized institution.
* At least two years relevant experience in carrying out Social Research assignments and Advocacy initiatives /advocacy programs in at local and national level.
* .Good working knowledge and experience in the use of varied research methodologies and data analysis packages such as SPSS is a must.
* Hands on experience in proposal writing, budgeting and budget management
* Good interpersonal skills; ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
* Age range of 23 - 35 years.
* Ability to function well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Dynamic, hard working, result oriented and able to work with minimum supervision.
