VACANCY
As a part of the Bioenergy and Food Security (BEFS) project, under the technical supervision of the FAO Chief of the Development Law Service (LEGN), and the operational supervision of the Policy Adviser of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources (MEWR) and FAO Representative in Sierra Leone, the consultant will be conducting a review of policies, strategies and legislation on areas relevant for bioenergy in Sierra Leone.
POSITION: NATIONAL LEGAL CONSULTANT ON BIOENERGY
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Advanced degree in law, at least four years experience in agriculture-related legislation.
- Acknowledge of energy, climate change, agricultural production or bio-fuels legislation would be an asset.
- Experience in legal analysis and drafting desirable.
- Fluent English.
