RISI is the leading information provider for the global forest products industry. We are seeking a qualified candidate to lead our European Graphic Papers Analysis & Forecast Service. This service, recognized industry-wide as the most comprehensive source of its kind, covers all major graphic paper grades and is used by pulp and paper producers, suppliers, financials and end-users to make the best strategic and tactical decisions for their businesses.

Main responsibilities include producing and updating ongoing forecasts and analysis for the European graphic paper markets as well as interacting with clients on a regular basis.

Other Responsibilities

• Manage all European graphic paper data updating, forecasting, analysis, and writing;
• Initiate and incorporate product developments to improve the service;
• Launch new and interesting Special Market Studies;
• Provide client support and visits;
• Speak at RISI and industry conferences;
• Write RISI Viewpoints.

Required Skills:

• Detailed knowledge of the graphic paper markets in Europe;
• Basic Econometric modeling and techniques;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with clients and industry contacts;
• Fluency in English and at least one other European language.

Education:

Masters degree in Economics, Statistics, Business, or Forestry
