The British Council is a world leader in cultural relations, building long-term relationships and trust between people in the UK and other countries, for mutual benefit. The programmes we use to do this are wide-ranging and cover the arts, education, English, science and society. We strive to be innovative, to ensure that we represent the best of the UK and are relevant to the needs of the thousands of people with whom we work around the world. We operate in 238 cities in 110 countries and territories

The new digital team has been set up to achieve a transformation in the British Council’s digital portfolio. Sitting within Corporate HQ, it has a defined core team, to lead a major change programme to transform the British Council into a digital business.

The team consists of a small global team of digital technical experts and support functions in programme management, business analytics and finance. Many of the digital roles are co-located in functional departments where they are matrix managed.

We are now looking for an outstanding individual to contribute to the realisation of the British Council’s corporate outcomes and outputs in schools work.
