Laudian Professorship of Arabic
FACULTY OF ORIENTAL STUDIES in association with St John’s College
The Laudian Chair, established in 1636, is the senior statutory professorship within the Islamic World Subject Group of the faculty. The successful candidate will carry out and publish research of the highest quality and provide research leadership in the faculty; teach undergraduate and graduate students and supervise doctoral research; examine at all levels; serve on committees of the faculty and the college; and chair major faculty committees. This post has a start date of 1 October 2012.
