Position Summary

IREX is currently collecting CVs for our Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists roster. The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists are expected to have a strong background in designing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, collecting and analyzing results and evaluating program impact.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Develop monitoring and evaluation framework under direction of Program Manager or development staff in the proposal stage

· Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plan under direction of Program Manager and in cooperation with other staff

· Conduct regular monitoring of program activities

· Organize mid-program and final evaluations

· Analyze evaluation results to determine impact of program activities and progress toward goals and objectives

Qualifications

· Master’s degree in social sciences or related field

· At least 5 years of experience monitoring and evaluating civil society strengthening, media development, and/or education development programs

· Previous experience monitoring and evaluating projects

· Experience monitoring and evaluating USAID programs strongly preferred

· Experience evaluating impact of large-scale and high-profile national campaigns and events

· Strong analytical skills

· English language fluency required
