Programme Manager - Governance
CAFOD, one of the UK’s leading international aid agencies, is currently looking for a Programme Manager – Governance, to be based in our regional offices in Cambodia.
You will, in collaboration with relevant staff, lead on the formulation of strategy and goals for CAFOD’s work on Governance across the region and ensure effective management of 2-3 country programmes. You will be responsible for developing programme frameworks to achieve these goals. A large part of your role will consist of planning, monitoring and managing the implementation of this work alongside relevant country programme staff in line with CAFOD’s values and working principles.
We are looking for an individual who has a broad understanding of trends and changing approaches to development and humanitarian work as well as a sensitive awareness of the importance of gender and diversity in humanitarian and development work. You should be able to deliver technical capacity building on governance-related programme work and demonstrate a good understanding of governance related issues in the region and substantial experience of governance programming in partnership. The successful candidate will also be able to develop and monitor programme frameworks at a strategic level.
