Yemen Camp Coordinator

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Business or related field.

• 2-3 years experience in similar field, preferably in a camp or field setting.

• Good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills.

• Proficiency in English language and computer skills is essential.

• Good leadership skills.

• Organization and time management • Ability to live/work under hardship conditions.

• Be culturally sensitive, friendly and caring.

• Ability to speak Arabic (and Somali) is an advantage.

Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Camp Coordinator is expected to perform the following duties:

• Coordinate the implementation of the project in accordance with proposal, donor agreement and ADRA Yemen policies • Monitor project progress against set goals, objectives and indicators • Involve refugee community in planning and implementation through regular meetings, consultations and assignments • Report on a weekly basis all activities in the camp to the Project Manager • Submit a monthly report with pictures to the Project Manager • Provide leadership and build capacity of project staff and community leaders • Hold regular management team meetings • Conduct activities and manage expenditure in accordance with the available budget • Develop good relationships with partners working in the camp • Coordinate project activities with partners in the camp
