International Centre for Governance and Public Management (IGPM)

We are seeking a high-performing or high-potential academic, working within the broad disciplines of governance, public policy or public management. You may be someone who is already working in public management, or possibly have a background in private sector research and now want to make a transition in your research and teaching to understanding public organisations. You will have a strong research profile at international level, and be committed to research-led teaching.

You must be committed to imaginative teaching of senior public policymakers and managers on our portfolio of postgraduate programmes and to have the credibility to teach and work with such mature students, and where appropriate, to maintain the strategic partnerships with national funders and other employers.

As an Associate Professor you will be an experienced teacher in fields relevant to public management, governance and public policy, preferably with expertise in public strategic management. You will need to have a strong record of published research in areas relevant to the subject. You will be expected to provide research leadership in an area that develops or builds upon the group's main interests and to provide effective teaching across a range of postgraduate programmes.
