Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Bank's operations including computer operations, product development, branch operations, background operations, project management, end user customer service, marketing operations, finance and administration.
  • Prioritisation of projects based on input from the CEO, strategic teams and financial analysis.
  • Complete resource assessments to ensure there are sufficient technical and operational resources.
  • Manage client satisfaction.
  • Build processes for continuous improvement of critical operational metrics across key functions.
  • Manage long-term operational projects.
  • Undertake and lead re-engineering/change where necessary.
  • Ensure there is an adequate level of transparence across all processes to enable the proper assessment of risk.
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of Central Bank audits.
  • Work closely with the HR department to secure resources and ensure training of key personnel.
  • Manage the corporate governance structure.

Experience and Qualifications

  • An advanced degree is preferred (MBA or MSc in Finance or a related field.)
  • 10+ years of experience manaing operations for a small-medium sized retail/commercial bank is a must.
  • Change leadership experience.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Experience working with bank card operations.
  • Strategic planning in a retail banking environment.
  • Proven communication and management skills
  • IT credentials and experience are a plus
