Division Chief, Accounting & Finance

Job Summary : The Division Chief is responsible for providing financial information and advice, maintaining accounting records, preparing accounts and management information, detecting and preventing fraud and managing junior colleagues, and for the overall management of the A & F Division.

Job Requirements : Qualified CPA or CA Minimum nine years of post qualification experience, with a minimum of three years in the insurance industry. Fluency in both Arabic and English languages. Knowledge of French will be an advantage. Computer literacy, especially Oracle Financials/SAP, Windows, and MS Office applications.

Insurance Underwriter

Job Summary : The underwriter (investment underwriting) is responsible for the underwriting of investment insurance policies and in accordance with the authority and within the limits delegated by the senior underwriter (investment underwriting).

Job Requirements : Masters degree in economics or business from a reputable university. Minimum Five years experience in project analysis, project finance or political risk underwriting in an international development finance institution, investment bank or investment guarantee agency. Fluency in English and Arabic languages and preferably a working knowledge of French. Computer literacy, specially Windows and MS Office applications.

System Analyst / Programmer

Job Summary : The System Analyst will have a leading role as a systems analyst/ programmer, capable of working largely unsupervised to scope, define and oversee the implementation of systems modifications and enhancements to meet user requirements.

Job Requirements : Bachelor degree in Information Technology or relevant field in addition to certified training on Developer 2000, JDeveloper, Oracle database, and Oracle Designer. Minimum Seven years experience in a related field in similar institutions. Fluency in both Arabic and English languages. (Knowledge of French is an advantage). Proficiency in the use of Developer 2000, JDeveloper, Oracle database, and Oracle Designer. Ability to use Windows Server 2003 or Unix or Linux operating systems.
