International Advocacy Programme Director

Are you an experienced leader and team player with a proven ability to develop and implement innovative strategies, plans and processes at the local and global levels? Are you passionate about human rights and do you understand the effects of social change? We are looking for someone to manage advocacy teams in our New York, London and Geneva offices, to work with our staff in Amnesty International chapters around the world. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, an excellent communicator and a committed manager. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing demands; enjoy giving strategic and political advice while overseeing staff performance; and are able to reframe arguments in ways that make governments question their conventional wisdom.
