One of our BAO competencies, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), contains the services, technologies and processes used to capture, manage, store, preserve, and deliver unstructured content. It includes the techniques and systems that provide global access and management of digital assets used to collaborate and share information between a company and its customers, suppliers, employees and business partners.

As a BAO Application Developer CM, you will consult on client projects designing, developing and supporting FileNet solutions.

Description of Position:

• Responsible for translating requirements into the design, development and assembly of components to create custom FileNet content management solutions.
• Analysis of system use cases, workflow and user interface specifications.
• Completing functional and technical designs, models, components, code, unit tests and documentation.
• Developing and/or re-engineering highly complex FileNet application components.
• Integrating software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
• Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues and configuring the hardware and software components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Sound application development skills specifically related to Content Management
• Working hands on with the FileNet P8 APIs and solid knowledge of Object oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD)
• Direct experience with Java/J2EE
• Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions.
• Able to complete functional and technical designs, models, components, code, unit test and documentation.
• Knowledge and experience working throughout the System Development Life Cycle.

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of design, configuration, development and implementation experience with IBM FileNet P8
• Working knowledge of ECM design and implementation best practices and patterns
• Detailed understanding of Enterprise Content Management, including: Document and Records Management, Imaging/Workflow and Archiving.
• Knowledge of solutions other than FileNet like SharePoint, Opentext, or Kofax.
• Experience with integrated development environments (Eclipse, Rational tools etc.)
• Experience working with infrastructure components including:
o Application Servers such as WebSphere
o Database Server such as DB2 or Oracle
o Operating system experience with Windows and UNIX
