Vacancy: Business Process Analyst Finance Master Data Vacancy Type: Permanent Business Unit: Crop Protection Functional area: Sustainable Excellence Location: CH - Basel Responsibilities: We are currently seeking at our Headquarters in Basel an SAP Expert in CO/PA for the role of a Business Process Analyst (BPA) for Finance Master Data. Within the team you will be accountable to develop state-of-the-art processes for the maintenance of Finance Master Data and oversee the implementation of change and continuous improvement initiatives in the Finance community. Further responsibilities are: • Drive the standardization of processes for the maintenance of master data across various application platforms in Syngenta. • Develop, review and adapt policies, guidelines, desktop and standard operating procedures • Manage projects based on Syngenta’s Change Methodology • Identify opportunities to improve the Finance master data maintenance processes • Provide third level support, resolve issues, monitor workflows, manage reference tables, maintain business rules • Extract and analyze data for KPIs, establish KPI reports, prepare input to MDM dashboard, follow-up on KPIs with actions to remediate challenges • Inform and train the Finance user community Requirements: • Bachelor or Master degree with a strong focus in Accounting or Business Administration • At least 10 years work experience in the area of Accounting, Controlling or Reporting in SAP • Solid understanding of transactional Finance processes as well as the links to consolidation/reporting (SAP FI/CO, Hyperion Enterprise, MS office, etc.) • Team oriented, good command of analytical thinking, project management knowledge and problem solver • Worked in an international environment, dealing with different cultural backgrounds and behaviors • Communication and interaction both with stakeholders as well as clients and collaborate across boundaries • Understanding the commercial implications and sensitivities of working with 3rd party providers • Fluent in English, German would be an asset This sounds like you?
