Position: Field Trainee - Logistics (part of the Field Management Developent Programme)

Location: 6 months in London, UK & 6 months in a Merlin field programme Duration: 1 year in this role with the expectation of moving into a Merlin field position afterwards Start date: 1st March 2012 Closing date: 8th January 2012

Merlin is a leading international health charity based in London and operating in 16 of the world’s toughest countries. We are looking for exceptional individuals for our new full time Field Management Development Programme starting in March 2012. You will spend 6 months in the logistics department of our Head Office in London followed by 6 months in a Merlin field location, where you will play a key role in one of our health programmes.

This new Field Management Development Programme is specifically designed to build future Merlin leaders – we want committed people who at the end of the Field Management Development Programme, we can place into a Merlin Logistics field position.

This is a paid role (minimum wage) and we will give you the relevant training, mentoring and support needed to become a Merlin field manager. In return you will need to have the integrity, commitment and dynamism to deliver programmes supporting communities in some of the toughest places in the world.
