1. Summary:

CURE International Hospital is primarily a teaching hospital with services in paediatrics, OBGYN, pathology, general surgery, plastic surgery, internal medicine and orthopaedics. The hospital provides quality, evidence-based care for all patients.

  1. Purpose of the Position:

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the HR Manager plans, organizes and directs all aspects of the human resource functions of the CURE International-Kabul Hospital in employee recruitment, compensation and appraisal systems development, staff discipline, international staff and volunteer management, and staff welfare & motivation.

Exercises general supervision over human resource staff and works with the managers and supervisors of CURE International Hospital concerning various human resources functions and staff development.

  1. Essential Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

The HR Manager for CURE International-Kabul Hospital is a strategic partner in the development and on-going administration of the CURE Hospital, with specific responsibility for the planning, development, implementation and administration of policies, procedures and practices affecting the continuum of employment for all employees of CURE International-Kabul Hospital.

  1. Minimum Qualifications:

A Degree in administration and/or a Master's Degree in HR or General Management. Preferred HRM qualification or postgraduate diploma. In lieu of education, at least 6-8 yrs of current hospital HR Management experience required.

Minimum of 3 years previous, relevant work experience, 8 years preferred of HR management experience.

  1. Special Requirements of the Post:


The successful incumbent must have a record of demonstrated success in all areas of human resources management with special expertise in the employment, employee relations, and employee communications functions. He/she must have a current working knowledge of applicable law relating to the employee/employer relationship as well as exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively
