Iraq: Journalism Trainers  Internews Network is an international  media development organization based in Arcata, CA. It currently is  administering a 20-month project to enhance accountability in the  critically important oil industry by improving oil reporting as a  specialization in Iraqi media and building awareness of this  specialization across Iraq more broadly.     Internews is seeking to build a pool  of Iraqi consultants who can function in a variety of roles to advance  the goals of the project. These consultants should have experience  providing training to groups of 8-15 Iraqi participants and can also  learn and deliver new curriculum.     Trainings     The trainings that the consultants will deliver in the coming 20 months will cover the following topics:   - ICT and data visualization
 - How to be most effective in television interviews
 - EITI process in Iraq
 - Fundamentals of the extraction industry, with emphasis on Iraq
   Scope of Work:   - Learn and develop curriculum, agenda and handout material.
 - Provide trainings from 2 to 4 days in length, with participants numbering 8-15
 - Assess skills of participants, before and after workshop
 - Write reports on the results of the workshop
 - Help  organize workshops, to include suggesting venues and help identify  appropriate participants, partners and other elements necessary for the  conduct of a successful training.
 - Liaise and be familiar with Iraq’s media and NGO landscape
   Qualifications:   - Fluent in Arabic and English.
 - Ability to develop or learn curriculum, agendas, and relevant handout material for 2-5 day trainings.
 - Able to present information in a clear, organized and engaging fashion.
 - Strong writing skills, especially for reports.
 - Ability to connect and engage with Iraq’s media and NGO landscape
 - Systematic, timely, independent and organized.
 - Knowledge of the political and cultural landscape of Iraq.
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
