The Programme Management and Policy Section (PMPS) serves multiple roles. It coordinates information management (IM) and information technology (IT) governance across the Secretariat, provides information architecture services to the Secretariat and furthers the standardization and consolidation of the information landscape, coordinates the Division’s project management methodology and documentation (based on PRINCE2), provides direct project management services to the Division, provides product management services for important IAEA-wide applications (e.g. the IAEA’s extranet and intranet, and enterprise search), and creates, promulgates and maintains IT policy in consultation with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the IAEA-wide IM/IT Committee.
