Introduction:

The IT arena is combined of vast options of vendors. Oracle recognizes that a successful implementation of Oracle products like RDBMS, Coherence (distributed caching), SOA and BI in a complex IT organization requires other skills then pure Oracle skills. .Net is a substantial component in the software puzzle.

The ACS is building skills around pure .Net (server side, WCF, Silverlight, Entity framework…) to answer the needs of these kinds of complex projects. The tasks that will be covered are a combination of design, installation, configuration, day to day development and day to day support mostly onsite at our clients office. The service delivery engineer (SDE) role will enable premium service level and efficient implementation and effective maintenance.

Description:

The day to day work will be involved with on site design, installation, configuration, development and day to day support. To enable premium level service the SDE, in addition to premium technical skills, will provide methodologies, best practices, fast troubleshooting and bug resolution, access to internal knowledge and distribution of knowledge.

As an ACS SDE the specialist will have a tool set that include special trainings, direct access to product development, access to any support resources and ACS SDE's across the globe.

Competencies:

Key competencies include

  • Experience with core .Net (C#) development (3-5 years)
  • Ideally experienced with: WCF, Silverlight, Web Services, IIS
  • Ideally Microsoft certified
  • Experience with database: SQL on Oracle or sqlServer, PLSQL
  • Ideally with high security clearance

  • Teamwork

Education:

A Bachelor Degree in Computers (or related field) is required. A candidate with enough relevant work experience may be considered as well.
