Nigeria Public Health Technical Advisory Services

Service Objectives:

To provide technical and administrative oversight for PEPFAR program implementation in Nigeria.

Task Requirements: Under the direction of the Country Director or any Senior USDH delegate,

• Provide technical and administrative oversight for PEPFAR program implementation; document outcomes and recommendations.

• Review, monitor, manage, and track progress of technical and administrative actions for PEFPAR funded cooperative agreements

• Conduct partner site visits to critically review program implementation

• Lead and contribute to annual/semi annual reports and planning for PEPFAR APR/SAPR/COP

Task Deliverables:

• Provide annual work plan

• Due within 30 days of in-country assignment

• Provide monthly progress reports

• Due 5 days following end of the month

• Provide quarterly activity report

• Due 5 days following end of quarter

• Provide final activity report

• Due 10 days after completion of project.

Minimum Qualifications and/or Certifications:

• 3-5 years of work experience

• Education and experience in HIV/AIDS program management

• Clear understanding of the federal grants; cooperative agreements and budget processes and cycles

• Nursing degree or MBBS or Master degree in public health with at least 7 years’ post graduate work in public health or health related program

• Experience with supervision of professional or administrative staff

• International experience with program implementation is beneficial but not necessary.
