Training Specialist:

To carry out training responsibilities using established methods and instruments, matches needs to solutions and implement training activities. To also design and deliver training programs tools and techniques

Key Activities:

Identify, analyse and classify training needs based on assessment survey in IDB Member Countries and categorizes these needs by themes and priority.

Prepare learning and training objectives and methods.

Prepare courses to meet training needs, together with the required material. Supervises organization of other regular training programs as planned in cooperation with the collaborating institution, and collects and analyzes training-related data and makes recommendations to support management decision-making regarding training activities.

Supervise training programs for trainers in collaboration with reputed Training Institutions and Centers of Excellency in and outside IDB Member Countries.

Assist in the design of nomination criteria, and the process of soliciting appropriate nominations of people, to match identified courses or other development activities

Assist in developing Training Packages, materials and Programs on Islamic Economics and Finance in-order to fit the identified needs of the target users

Tutor effectively on core programmes, using established curricula and materials

Administer post-course evaluation of learning, and act on findings to improve training provisions as required

Prepare and present regular progress reports to brief IRTI Seniors about the work flow and issues if any.

Experience:

4 - 6 years working experience, preferably in a similar work environment.

Innovative approaches to training methods and development of training packages.

Fluency in English and Arabic languages is required. Knowledge of the French language is advantageous.

Qualifications:

A university Degree in Economics, Finance, or other related fields. A Master degree is preferred.

Skills:

Professional teaching experience.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Good computer technology skills.
