Financial Trainee - Western Europe Financial Controls

GDBS is a multi functional shared service centre that handles DIAGEO-wide transactions across various world regions including the Western European markets which migrated the financial controlling activities recently. Western Europe Represent 25% of Diageo’s profit.

We are looking for trainees for a period of 3-6 months in part time (30 hours per week) position.

Purpose of Role

---

To help our Western European Financial Control team in its daily work. We would like to offer the opportunity for graduates to gain work experience in the financial, controlling area and to make practical use of the knowledge gathered at the university/college.

Top 3-5 accountabilities

---

- Participating in the daily accounting and reporting activities

- Active participation in the planning, actual cost analysis activities

- Support audit work and validation

- Month-end closure activities: like helping the team in the consolidated reporting of the above costs for the Western European market

Qualifications and experience required

---

Degree in Finance/Accounting or ongoing studies in graduation year

Fluent English knowledge

Interest in working for our company after the trainee program as well in one of our financial departments

Good communication and logical skills

Willing to learn

Taking ownership

Positive attitude towards work
