Save the Children is embarking on an exciting new phase of its development. As the world’s leading charity for children, we want to strengthen our global voice to ensure that the public and decision makers’ attention is focused on the challenges facing the world’s poorest children.

To do so, we must raise our global presence, building on Save the Children’s existing media resources across the world to deliver greater impact for children. We know that film and photography is a key way in tell children’s stories in a compelling and emotional way to the widest possible audience.

We are looking for an experienced film and photography manager, who can help us deliver this vision within a newly established Global Media Unit

This role will be a critical position within the Global media unit, working closely with Save the Children’s member organisations to meet the film and photography needs of the different markets and delivering outstanding content.

The role will act as producer for content and as the main point of contact for all our 29 Save the Children organisations. It will especially focus on producing material for our key campaign for saving the lives of children under five, and in humanitarian disasters.

We see you bringing to the role a track record in producing internationally focused audio visual materials, ideally for a humanitarian organisation and/or broadcaster. You’ll be experienced with Avid to edit film content, with knowledge of outputting / encoding in a range of formats.

Save the Children works in more than 120 countries. We save children’s lives. We fight for their rights. We help them fulfil their potential.
