The Organisation
QGC is a leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on supplying cleaner hydrocarbon energy to growing domestic and international markets.

We are establishing Queensland Curtis LNG, a world-first project to turn reserves of natural coal seam gas in the Surat and Bowen basins in Queensland into liquefied natural gas (LNG) – a carbon efficient fuel.

QGC, which is wholly owned by the British energy company BG Group, employs more than 4,300 staff and contractors. 
Position Summary
This position is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring vendors are paid in a timely manner and the reconciliation of vendor accounts. All duties are to be performed in compliance with FCA process.

As a key member of the Financial Accounting Team, this position will be required to contribute to the achievement of the team’s outputs and goals.
Key Accountabilities
Position Specific• Assist with the entry of vendor invoices in SAP
• Assist with Corporate credit card processing
• Provide EFT remittance advices to Vendors
• Assist with employee expense claim processing
• Responsible for the reconciliation and clearing of vendor accounts
• Conducting FBT and GST analysis
• Ensure the preparation and recording of FBT information
• Conducting Vendor/spend analysis
• Ensure the rotational processing of payments
• Complete all month end tasks as required

People Management• The incumbent must abide by company policy in relation to HR policies and procedures such as annual HR cycle and meet deadlines within the appropriate timeframes

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute
Experience Needed
• Previous experience in an accounts payable role within a large organization
• Previous experience using SAP

• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel, Outlook and Word skills;
