The Coca-Cola Company’s Venturing and Emerging Brands unit was created in 2007

to identify and develop the next set of billion dollar brands via importation (bringing products that work globally), incubating internal innovation (launching new brands and categories) and sourcing external growth through acquisition, entrepreneurial partnering and equity investment. For the short term, the position will be responsible for sampling Illy issimo, a premium ready to drink coffee and the product of a global Joint Venture between The Coca-Cola Company and illy Spa International. www.illyissimo.com. Other brands could be added to the portfolio at any time.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can create awareness and educate consumers on Coca-Cola’s newest brands in the tri-state area. This job is ideal for someone that can work independently, has high energy, the ability to talk to anyone, and would appreciate not working in the same place every day. Access to a car is a necessity.

The job will include bringing illy issimo ready to drink coffee to life through on-site event activation, consumer engagement, product sampling, in-store samplings, product seeding, deliveries and networking.  Computer skills, strong verbal/communication and organizational skills are a must.  A willingness to get your hands dirty, while having fun, is essential!


Brand Ambassador Role:


  • Conducting daily brand demonstrations of VEB brands in key accounts in the New York Metro area ( NYC, Westchester, Long Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Philadelphia)

  • Recap events and submit to Marketing Coordinator daily

  • Work with Marketing Coordinator to ensure we are booking demonstrations at the best times in each account.

  • The face of VEB brands in Northeast Region stores with account contacts

  • Responsible for working with the sales team to leverage demonstrations in key accounts

Requirements:


  • Ability to self-start and communicate with strangers and/or in large crowds

  • Passion to educate consumers on new and emerging brands


  • Prior experience with field marketing, promotions, events and consumer products not required, but preferred

  • Education: minimum high school diploma


  • Driver’s License and reliable car (we reimburse $0.50 per mile)
