The Organisation
QGC is a leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on supplying cleaner hydrocarbon energy to growing domestic and international markets.

We are establishing Queensland Curtis LNG, a world-first project to turn reserves of natural coal seam gas in the Surat and Bowen basins in Queensland into liquefied natural gas (LNG) – a carbon efficient fuel.

QGC, which is wholly owned by the British energy company BG Group, employs more than 4,300 staff and contractors. 
Position Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for training and development across C&P systems and processes, including developing and implementing strategic and operational solutions that will foster continuous improvement and a learning culture, and develop the overall capability of the organisation with respect to C&P-related systems, tools, and processes.

The Training Advisor also has responsibility for the development, effective implementation, and maintenance of the C&P Learning and Development Framework and the co-ordination of C&P power user network.
Key Accountabilities
Position Specific• Development, delivery and maintenance of the C&P learning and development framework, ensuring all capability needs and training requirements are identified and training plans are effected
• Manage C&P systems and process–related training requirements for all C&P and non-C&P personnel, including refresher training, for SAP, ProCon, PerforMIS, contract lifecycle management, and the Requisition-to-Pay process, ensuring a holistic approach
• Design, development and maintenance of learning and development solutions, including e-learning solutions, to support training and support requirements, including training and support for regional personnel
• Ensure effective management and administration of the Learning Management System for C&P-related training
• Develop, deliver and maintain C&P induction training for C&P and non-C&P personnel to ensure an effective understanding and application of C&P systems, tools and processes
• Liaison with internal and external training providers, as required
• Ensure all training and related materials are continually reviewed and improved to ensure currency and accuracy of content
• Support implementations of/upgrades to systems, tools, and processes through the development and implementation of effective change management programs and the development and delivery of training solutions and training materials, including FAQs, User Guides, and Quick Reference Guides
• Liaise with TVP to ensure alignment of training for C&P systems, tools, and processes
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders with regard to systems, tools, and processes and make suggestions for improvements
• Maintain effective communications and relationships between the business, Global IT, and end users
• Co-ordinate the network of QGC C&P power users and assist with the ongoing development of power users’ capabilities and training/coaching skills
• Monitor effectiveness of training, analyse feedback, and implement improvements, as required
• Ensure the information and materials on the Intranet are current and relevant at all times

People Management• The incumbent must abide by company policy in relation to HR policies and procedures such as annual HR cycle and meet deadlines within the appropriate timeframes

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute
Experience Required
• Proven practical experience in a C&P functional environment or role
• Demonstrated experience organising/facilitating multi-disciplinary training in large, complex organisations
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing learning and development frameworks
• Proven experience in the practical application and training of C&P systems, tools, and processes, including SAP MM and proprietary contracts management systems is required.
• Experience with SAP IM and SAP SRM is desirable
• Proven experience in developing e-learning training modules
• Participation in/coordination of a super user (power user) network
 
Knowledge, Languages, Skills and Attributes• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is preferred
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Applications (particularly MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel) and e-learning tools
• Ability to readily understand and clearly communicate new systems, tools, and processes to a variety of audiences
• Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage simultaneous assignments and responsibilities

Special Features
• Travel to regional sites will be a requirement of this role
