The Organisation
QGC is a leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on supplying cleaner hydrocarbon energy to growing domestic and international markets.

We are establishing Queensland Curtis LNG, a world-first project to turn reserves of natural coal seam gas in the Surat and Bowen basins in Queensland into liquefied natural gas (LNG) – a carbon efficient fuel.

QGC, which is wholly owned by the British energy company BG Group, employs more than 4,300 staff and contractors. 
Position Summary
The incumbent provides administrative support to the QGC C&P Asset Manager and the Asset Contracts & Procurement team.
Key Accountabilities
Position Specific Provide diary management and coordinate meetings, take minutes of meetings
 Maintain confidential contract register and filing systems for contracts and parent guarantees
 Coordinate international and domestic travel and itinerary arrangements
 Prepare monthly corporate card and personal expenses for the QGC C&P Asset Manager
 Provide support to visitors (including from TVP) on an adhoc basis incorporating itineraries and diary management
 Coordinate the C&P new starter & exit processes
 Coordinate procurement, purchase requisitions, purchase orders and goods receipting in SAP
 Lead the monthly Asset C&P meetings ensuring availability of content and venue
 Coordinate documentation and POA signing
 Prepare documents including letters, memos, faxes and reports
 Manage events and functions as required
 Prepare PowerPoint presentations
 Ownership of special projects from time to time
 Other activities, as required

People Management The contractor must abide by company policy in relation to HR policies and procedures such as annual HR cycle and meet deadlines within the appropriate timeframes
Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) Upholding and ensuring compliance with QGC’s HSSE requirements and business principles, both within the organisation, and with contractors/subcontractors

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute
Experience Required
 Demonstrated experience in an administrative role within a busy corporate environment with a large team
 Background in Construction, Mining, Oil or Gas strongly desirable
 Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
 Experience with financial or procurements systems such as SAP, desirable
 Experience in formatting large documents or desktop publishing desirable
