Senior Manager, Global Marketing Measurement , American Express | United Kingdom

This position sits within the Global Network Products (GNP) group of GNMI which is focused on leveraging the closed loop advantage to connect buyers and sellers through our unique offer ecosystem and suite of merchant marketing products. The Insights Products & Analytics team within GNP is responsible for management of the insights product set, audience segmentation, and measurement of all marketing programs worldwide. This analytics-driven group also helps demonstrate the value of the network to merchants through insights that help them grow their business.
The Global Marketing Measurement team within GNP is focused on providing premium campaign reporting solutions and measurement consulting services for merchants across US, EMEA, JAPA, and LACC markets. Specifically, we generate post-campaign analytics for Solus and Multi-Merchant, Below-the-Line, Above-the-Line, and Network Level marketing promotions. We work with Marketing Managers to measure campaign performance, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and generate insights to understand key drivers that inform future marketing campaigns.
The successful candidate will provide campaign analytics support for EMEA and LACC markets. This position could sit in UK, Canada, US, or elsewhere.
  • Providing post-campaign analytics for merchants in EMEA and LACC markets
  • Generating insights on campaign performance and effectiveness to inform future marketing
  • Creating custom campaign analytics and advanced reporting for fee-based product execution
  • Consulting Marketing and CLM on measurement strategy and best practices
  • Driving measurement standards and consistency across markets and channels
  • Driving automation and data visualization in our measurement reporting product set
  • Supporting product line strategy of measurement reports in international markets
  • Business planning and relationship management with key marketing stakeholders

- Experienced in marketing analytics role
- Strong data analytic and data visualization skills
- Ability to work independently with SAS/SQL in relational database environment
- Ability to translate complex data into customer focused insights
- Knowledge of marketing practices across channels (direct mail, email, digital, broadscale)
- The ability to partner effectively with constituents across GMS to deliver high impact analytics
- Superior ability to develop and leverage relationships influence across stakeholders

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with proven ability to drive results across a diverse set of deliverables
-MBA or other advanced degree preferred
