Description: In this position, you will assist two Team Leaders/Work Experience Coordinators to establish and maintain cooperation necessary among employers, students and faculty to ensure all objectives of Work Experience programs are met. A solid understanding of Mount Royal work experience programs and benefits of work-based learning programs are essential.

Duties: Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assisting in providing meaningful work experience opportunities for students participating in Work Experience programs at Mount Royal University.
Maintain employer-client relationships to ensure continued participation in the work experience component of programs.
Build and maintain student relations including preparing students for success in the workplace.
Assisting in workplace preparation for students.

Qualifications: Diploma in General Business Administration and/or Marketing with 2-3 years’ experience
Career Development credential and/or experience an asset
Demonstrated marketing success
Proven critical thinking skills and analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to multi-task in a busy team-based work environment
Excellent communication (verbal and written), organization and time management skills
Strong computer proficiency in a windows environment (including proficiency with MS Access, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel)
Self-starter: ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision
Group facilitation/presentation experience a strong asset

Salary: $1,850.58 semi-monthly
