World Vision Economic Development Learning Hub Lead

The Economic Development Learning Hub Lead (EDHL) will connect to internal and external stakeholders in EDLH in order to generate learning through mapping and selecting aligned projects across WV Middle East/Eastern Europe Region (MEER) national offices as well as to transform learning to general national office program implementation with a focus on driving quality results and to transmit learning to our people through an action oriented learning methodology. You will lead these three functions with the aim to achieve the objective of increasing our impact on Child and Youth Well-being by increasing reflection, evidence-based review, effectiveness, and scale. In addition, you will also serve to intentionally create and support a learning environment within the region.
We are looking for a visionary leader who can combine strong business disciplines with inspirational leadership skills in line with our values and ethos. You will have a passionate desire to help others, especially children.
SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Ensure that the EDLH operates and is compliant to the principles outlined in the LH guidelines, such as inclusiveness, flexibility, adaptability and collaboration.
• Co-develop with its national office host terms of reference (TOR) with the aim to generate, transform and transmit learning into action and impact on CWB in MEER.
• Collaborate with Functional Leads and Directors to ensure that F&D, Sponsorship, Advocacy and HEA are integrated in EDLH designs, implementation plans, and selection of aligned projects, as appropriate.
• Contribute to a knowledge-management system for the overall Learning Hubs and be accountable for effective knowledge management for the EDLH.
REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:
• Post graduate qualifications and / or Professional background in Economic Development / business or other relevant field.
• Knowledge in Economic Development international standards (including microfinance).
• Knowledge in programming resources and tools in Economic Development programming, particularly community-based models and practices such as access to markets.
• Experience in ED programming in developing countries, including community-based experience.
• Demonstrated experience in program or project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
