Duties and Responsibilities:
The W. P. Carey School of Business, China Programs, seeks a Director of Executive Relations & Recruitment who will connect and engage with highly recognized leaders through overseas recruitment partners and government agencies providing comprehensive information related to program offerings. The successful candidate has excellent business development skills and enjoys working within a dynamic environment.
Develop recruitment strategies; collaborate with the Executive Dean of China Programs on establishing business relationships, program branding, alumni engagement and instructional quality; create and promote student and faculty exchanges; enhance global understanding through educational programs; and facilitate overseas program related service agreements; assist with targeting outreach markets and promotional materials; analyze data and activity reports to make recommendations; assist with plans to achieve enrollment goals; develop and implement systematic on-going assessments of programs including level of service activities. Travel to China.
DAYS AND SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday; hours vary including some week-ends; International travel r
required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a closely related discipline AND eight (8) years experience with international student issues; results-oriented leader focused on strategic goal attainment; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Proficient in speaking and writing Mandarin Chinese and English.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience in: working with executive level student recruitment; enrollment targets; market research; developing networks with international educational institutions and advisement services; communicating with senior level executives;  working on multiple tasks with deadlines; sound judgment, discretion and a strong sense of professional ethics; Microsoft Suite and web-based social media tools. Evidence of proven business acumen.
