The UK is Saudi Arabia's second largest foreign investor after the USA. Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing economy is creating opportunities for both exporters and investors. These are further boosted by moves to diversify the economy away from dependence on oil and gas, economic reform, market liberalisation and a growing private sector.

Drawing on a strong track record in trade, infrastructure and/or high-level investment issues, you will be a core member of HM Ambassador’s senior management team. You will lead a 24 strong UKTI team in Saudi Arabia, ensuring that UKTI service delivery and high value opportunity targets are met, advising the Ambassador on all aspects of UK/Saudi trade and inward investment into the UK, and building on the UK’s increasing commercial, economic and political relationships to strengthen ties with Saudi Arabia.

As a credible candidate for this unique challenge, you will have first class leadership attributes, drive and ambition. You will already be operating at a senior level in a high performing organisation and ideally have knowledge of doing business in Saudi Arabia. Possessing excellent relationship building and influencing skills you are proven at managing stakeholders’ at the most senior level. You will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the UK’s business drivers and of international business.
