About Your Job:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, in this role you will be responsible for the evaluation and performance of comprehensive pricing analysis of online, interline and offline fare proposals from Qatar Airways network and authorize competitive fares. You will identify opportunities based on sales feedback/special prorate agreements and introduce competitive fares for new destinations. The key purpose of this role is to provide maximum support to the sales force in order to achieve revenue targets.
You will carry out detailed analysis on fare proposals and establish competitive market fares to support the company’s revenue, traffic and yield objectives as well as evaluate ad-hoc group requests of the station based on seasonality and demand of the flights. By keep abreast of changing market and economic trends you will evaluate their impact on Qatar Airways fares/products and subsequent competitiveness in the market. You will provide maximum technical support to the sales force to ensure increased awareness of Qatar Airways systems and data management and maintain updated records of all approved deals for reference and audit purposes. You will prepare fare sheets and distribute to the market/CRS and Sales and support the marketing activities.
About You:
To join our 5 star team in this role you will hold a Bachelors Degree or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years experience in an analytical role, with at least 1 year in the airline industry. You need to have knowledge of basic fares and ticketing. In addition, you will have excellent Microsoft Office skills and great spoken and written English communications skills. The ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate projects; effectively present and resolve critical business initiatives within corporate functional areas is essential.
