We're seeking an experienced Senior Major Gift Manager who wants to be part of delivering a bold strategy to provide sustained improvements to the poorest and most excluded people in the world.
As part of the wider Philanthropy and Partnerships team, this role will help deliver a step-change in income for ActionAid UK. Join our action to end poverty now and be part of something truly amazing.
Keen to make your mark in a major international NGO you’ve got the passion and energy to secure significant financial support from high net-worth individuals and their trusts/foundations. Day-to-day you will build and manage relationships with a range of donors and prospective donors who are able to give in excess of £50,000 per year.
We will look to you to secure strategic and multi-annual income for our country programmes and UK work as well as ensure we provide the best possible donor experience. Leveraging a range of tools from events to prospect research, you will develop and implement clear and ambitious plans for a dynamic prospect pipeline, increasing donor engagement, and maximising ask opportunities. 
You will be experienced in creating solicitation strategies that deliver five and six figure gifts, and as such will play a vital role in delivering and shaping our major gift team strategy.       
With exceptional interpersonal and negotiating skills you are an accomplished communicator and have proven ability of building a portfolio of relationships at the most senior levels.  You are a natural networker who thinks creatively and is used to closing asks.  You are results focussed with a track record of successfully soliciting major gifts and grants and you are adept at developing persuasive and innovative proposals.
