The role
Sandvik is seeking a Business Line Manager to drive sales for a given Product Line by bringing the best of Sandvik’s offering to meet a given customer need and meet BA mining profitability targets
Key performance areas and responsibilities
Business Line Manager will govern commercial activities, budgets and business plans in line with agreed Global Equipment and account management plan using processes and tools defined by Sales & Marketing Business Process Function
You will be required to:
  • Work as part of account management team to identify customer sales opportunities
  • Develop deep understanding of customer business, operations and processes
  • Conduct competitor analysis and identify needed actions (connection with PSM)
  • Lead Sales management (sales funnel management, sales activities planning and follow up)
  • Recruit, retain and develop sales team including succession planning
  • Provide the best view on future demand as part of BA Mining planning process
  • Manage tender to contract signature in conjunction with account management
  • Create customer value propositions to proactively create opportunities for Sandvik
  • Identify opportunities to sell Sandvik total offerings
  • Ensure all contract / terms and conditions are in place to enable cash collection in line with Sandvik policy
  • Ensure the equipment configuration both matches customer needs and works technically
  • Identify, analyze and drive resolution of customer issues( warranty and non warranty) with account management
Your profile and qualifications
The role will require excellent sales background and a proven track record of business development in the mining & construction market in Russia & CIS as well as:
  • Higher education (degree in Mining, Business administration)
  • At least 7 years of experience in mining industry with one of major equipment manufacturer on managerial positions.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Russian and English is a strong plus;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook etc.
  • Skill in organization, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
  • Strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines as well in cross-cultural environment
  • Excellent communication and leading skills
  • Readiness to business trip in Russia and abroad (up to 50 %)
