We are now looking for a talented and highly motivated Temporary Inventory Planner to distribute and optimize Parts Inventory through reviews and confirmations of inventory replenishments, identification and execution of redistribution opportunities between Global and Regional hubs. The successful candidate can be based in Dublin, Ireland or Tampere, Finland. This is a temporary contract and is due to end on 31st May 2017.
Job Summary
In this role your day-to-day activities will include distributing inventory between global and regional hubs by reviewing proposed replenishment orders and confirming daily requisitions. You will troubleshoot issues that arise and offer short-term and long-term creative solutions to improve customer services whilst saving costs. You will analyse inventory in global/regional hubs to generate replenishment orders, redeploy obsolete items, improve availability and decrease excess stock. You will have an understanding of the network settings and the supply chain to avoid costly and inefficient mistakes. You will understand the different inventory processes and propose improvements to systems and procedures needed to meet service levels and inventory KPI’s. You will maintain, update and clean master files and provide reports, analysis and recommendations to management and other stakeholders as required.
Your profile
You will have extensive experience of working in a logistics/supply chain role. You will have strong analytical skills, structured thinking and enjoy working with numbers and large volumes of data. You will need to be able to prioritise your own workload, strive to improve, take initiative and solve issues. You will have a strong knowledge of ERP systems, business management tools, standard software, inventory management and associated KPIs. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and have good general business acumen.
