Sandvik IT Global Shared Services is a support function with the mission of meeting the IT needs of Sandvik's business globally. The CIO Office, within Sandvik IT, ensures that all strategic aspects of the IT function at Sandvik are taken care of and being managed to facilitate the long-term efficiency of IT, as well as alignment with the overall development of Sandvik and delivery of business value. Additionally, CIO support ensures a consistent and strategic approach to the use of information technology across the enterprise.
We are now looking for an IT Security Architect, with development possibilities and the opportunity to create your own role on the global level. The location for this position is in Sandviken or Stockholm.
Job Summary
IT Security is a global team of 14 co-workers, and has the goal of enabling the business process within a specific risk scope, by ensuring good IT Security practice in all business processes, especially in IT, and adaptive protection for valuable assets, and by establishing detective and preventive controls.
As an IT Security Architect you are responsible for the design of consumable and customer-attractive services, in alignment with the Sandvik Architecture and Service Strategy, by identifying which solutions, processes and competencies are necessary to construct the service. You maintain and improve the services in accordance with the IT architectural guidance and constraints, as stated in the Architecture Framework (e.g., SIEM, HSM, etc.). You also ensure that IT Security is an integral part of other architecture areas; promote IT Security Service improvements;create and manage an architectural pattern for IT Security (network security, encryption, access control); and handle security architecture exception management. Additionally, you act as an advisor for IT Security related processes that are not part of the IT Security process portfolio, in order to ensure security compliance and usability.
This role involves traveling within Sweden and, twice a year, international travel.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience. A minimum of five years’ experience of IT security is a requirement for this position. Relevant IT Security certifications (e.g., ISC2, GIAC, or ISACA), as well as experience in network security, Active Directory and IT Security Architecture, are advantageous. You have good skills in English, in both writing and speaking, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
