OPERATIONS AND PROCUREMENT MANAGER
For more than 30 years, Children International (Bicol), Inc. has been providing critical assistance to children and families struggling in extreme poverty. Through sponsorship, our five service area centers located across Albay province provide resources, programs and services that allow us to reduce the burden of poverty on impoverished children and youth, invest in their potential and provide them with opportunities to grow up healthy, educated, employable, and empowered to break the cycle of poverty.
Children International (Bicol), Inc. announces its search for OPERATIONS AND PROCUREMENT MANAGER.
Role
The position is responsible for planning, recommending, directing and establishing the policy guidelines for proper conduct of the organization’s, operations’ and purchasing activities. The area of responsibility covers, among others, the operations of service area centers, purchasing activities, general services, warehousing, transportation, construction and infrastructure facilities.
Description of Tasks and Responsibilities
· Implements administrative policies affecting purchasing, general service, security, transportation, construction and infrastructure facilities
· Establishes effective controls to minimize losses and administrative costs
· Oversees the overall operations of five service area centers
· Supports the Field Director in maintaining an environment of transparency and accountability
· Prepares the annual budget estimate for central office and service area centers maintenance requirements, such as gas and oil, utilities and supplies, capital requirement and repairs
Qualification
The person we are looking for must have track record in purchasing and project administration, versed in accounting system, preferably, with advanced academic studies in the field, and has exceptional planning, coordination, management, and communication skills; experience in a non-profit environment is an advantage. The person must be willing to work full time and relocate in Legazpi City.
