Salary: R206 982 per annum (Ref. H11/202)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma or equivalent qualification
- 6-10 years’ experience in the relevant field
- Valid driver’s licence.
Competencies:
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, etc)
- Strong analytical skills
- Good interpersonal relations and problem-solving skills
- Good planning, co-ordination and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently, and as an intern
- Willingness to travel extensively in and outside the Province.
Duties:
- Co-ordinate and supervise the Health Promoting School programme throughout the Province
- Support to District Health Promotion Co-ordinators in terms of Health Promoting School programme
- Provide guidance and leadership between the realisation of strategic goals and objectives of the division
- Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with other programmes and partners with the implementation and monitoring of integrated Healthy Lifestyle programme
- Expand Health Promoting School sites
- Collaborate with other Departments, eg Education, Social Services, Agriculture, etc to promote the Health Promoting School Programme.
