Job title: Communications Manager (replacing maternity leave)
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Job description:
External communications:
Communication with Eurosif’s Member Affiliates (relationship management);
Communication with sponsors and other partners;
Coordinate Eurosif’s strategic communications efforts (communication plans, external communications strategy, etc);
Writing press releases and other PR documents;
Maintaining relations with journalists and updating the journalist database;
Creating and implementing communication plans for Eurosif’s research and policy work;
Creating and implementing the communication plan of Eurosif’s Annual Event and other events (pre- and post- event communications).
Online communications:
Website management and update;
Contact database management (over 5000 contacts);
Communication campaigns management (using Salesforce);
Writing and editing Eurosif’s newsletter (sent out every 6 weeks);
Regular posting on Eurosif’s social media channels;
Production of Eurosif’s multimedia communications (videos, interviews).
Other Communications tasks:
Oversee the production and design of Eurosif’s printed publications (reports, studies, etc);
Production of Eurosif’s marketing materials (banners, marketing brochures, factsheets, partnership proposals, etc);
Coordinate the use of Eurosif’s logo and branding guidelines and their correct use.
Required professional skills:
Minimum of five years of work experience and preferably in a private sector or multi-lateral work environment;
Solid understanding of and experience in integrated communication channels including spoken and written communication, press relations, web and social media tools;
Familiar with online database management tools, photo and video editing software;
Excellent communication skills and fluency in both written and spoken English. Fluency in French strongly preferred; knowledge of another common EU language is a plus;
Strong project management skills, including the development of work plans, timelines and responsibilities;
Solid sector knowledge (ESG, SRI, social economy, NGO communications, etc) is a major plus;
University degree in communications, languages, international relations, business or finance;
Work papers that allow you to be employed in the EU.

Conditions:
Duration: Fixed contract, 11 months (October 2011- September 2012), replacing maternity leave
Based in: Brussels, Belgium
Terms: Full time with 3 month probation
Pay: 30.000-40.000 EUR (GROSS)
