| Duties: The successful applicant will be required to teach English Literature (with emphasis on Milton and Metaphysical Poetry), Literary Theory, and World Literature (American Literature, Non-European World Literature, Commonwealth Literature); conduct research; and provide service. In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate shall perform such other duties as the Head of Department may assign to them from time to time. Requirements: Applicants should (i) hold at least a Bachelors degree in which English was studied as a major, with a pass of at least 2(ii) and an overall aggregate of 65%. Further, they should have a Masters degree in English; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research and service. Possession of a doctoral degree and university teaching experience would be an added advantage.
