Maintenance Controller

JRA is one of the Agencies established through the restructuring process of the City of Jhb. Our primary focus is to become a Premier Roads Network Operator and service provider in the country.

Maintenance Controller
Basic salary: R11 375 – R17 150 per month

Requirements:

• Minimum requirement – Grade 12 or N3 Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering certificate
  
• 2 years as a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
  
• Knowledge of hydraulics and electronics
• Qualification as an Artisan/Technician would be advantageous.
  

Responsibilities:

• Examine all tools and equipment/spares to make sure they are functional
  
• Check and repair tools on a daily basis
  
• Check specialised plants on a daily basis on approved checklist
  
• Monitor service requirements of the industrial plant and yellow plant and advise user reported faults immediately
  
• Manage the efficient and cost-effective repairs and maintenance of the Asphalt Plant, as and when required.
