Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Management Sciences for Health (MSH)
Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is an international non-profit, public health organisation with headquarters in USA, whose purpose is to strengthen health programs worldwide. MSH Uganda is currently running a number of USAID and other donor funded projects, both in Kampala and other parts of the country including SURE and STRIDES.
SURE (Securing Ugandans' Right to Essential Medicines) will ensure that the population of Uganda has access to adequate quantities of good quality essential medicines and health supplies (EMHS) by strengthening the national essential medicines and health commodities supply system.
STRIDES for Family Health strengthens the capacity of the health system in fifteen (15) selected districts in Uganda to make them fully functional and able to deliver quality integrated reproductive health/family planning (RH/FP) and child survival (CS) services to the people in need of these services.
MSH now invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions in the SURE and STRIDES projects:
4. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - Kampala - STRIDES Project
Overall responsibilities:
• The M&E Officer will perform a range of M&E support functions which are critical to the smooth running of STRIDES performance based contracts (PBC) and nutrition monitoring system including the establishment and implementation of the nutrition M&E system
• S/he will participate in the data verification exercises and support M&E capacity building efforts for STRIDES sub¬contractors
• Participate in the review of reports submitted by the contractors to ensure consistency with the approved reporting formats and PMPs
• S/he shall also support establishment and implementation of nutrition M&E and other new project components.

2) At least two years of experience in monitoring, data processing and data analysis
3) Knowledge, skills and experience in key M&E standard tools such as PMPs
4) Knowledge and experience in working with civil society organizations and districts/government
5) High-level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
6) Excellent communication skills including report writing and analytical skills
