Job Description:

Project Summary: The Region XI and XII T/TA and Collaboration Center described under this RFP is part of two larger, comprehensive OHS systems: the OHS T/TA system and the OHS Collaboration system. The Region XI and Region XII MSHS T/TA and Collaboration Center includes two distinct divisions-Region XI, serving American Indian and Alaska Native populations, and Region XII, serving Migrant and Seasonal Workers.

This position is not currently open and available, however we anticipate it will become open within the next 90 days.

Position Summary: The Project Director provides overall direction for and coordination of the project's work and directly supervises the Region XI and Region XII T/TA Managers and Collaboration Directors. The Project Director is the primary interface between the contractor and the Government and is responsible for ensuring quality control and that the goals of the project are met.The Director oversees and ensures the quality of all training, technical assistance and collaboration work provided by the Region XI and Region XII T/TA and Collaboration Divisions ensuring complete and timely delivery of technical assistance, training and collaboration activities. The Director also will ensure that project interfaces with Central Services and project staff to ensure the efficient operation of the project.

Essential Job Functions: • Assume primary responsibility for oversight of the project's management and operations,
including the effective supervision of staff to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are
accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters;
• Review work plans to determine milestones, procedures for accomplishing the work, staffing
requirements, and allocation of available resources for all tasks of within the project;
• Oversee the development and implementation of the budget to ensure financial accountability and meet regularly with with Contracts and Fiscal Manager to monitor expenditures and ensure that the project is meeting all contractual obligations;
Evaluate staff in the performance of their job responsibilities;
• Direct and coordinate project activities of contractor personnel in a manner that is efficient and
provides best value to the Government.

Education: Masters in one of the following or related fields: Business Administration or Management required.
Experience: 11 year(s) of relevant experience required

Specific Knowledge Requirements:
• Master's from an accredited university or
college in Management or Business Administration or related field.

• Eleven (l1) or more years of professional management experience, Head Start preferred;

•Demonstrated experience starting-up and managing complex large-scale projects.

Special Requirements: This job will require a criminal background check.
Skills: • Excellent management and organizational skills with a particular focus on managing details.

• Outstanding listening and communication skills-both written and oral.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in diverse and team-oriented environment essential.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate activities in multiple locations and meet deadlines.
