Rigger, Electrician, Boilermaker & Fitters
(Paterson Grading C3)
ROLE, PURPOSE AND DELIVERABLES
Optimum Collieries requires the services of Rigger, Electrician, Diesel Fitter, Plant Boilermaker, Plant Fitter and Dragline Fitter to safely execute maintenance activities in order to repair and maintain equipment thereby ensuring plant availability and reliability.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications and experience
Ideally, you will have a combination of the following exposure, competencies and qualifications required for success:
• Grade 12 or N3 Certificate and a recognised Trade Test (Red Seal)
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an opencast mining environment with Dragline Equipment is essential
• Provincial (Code 14) driver’s licence.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
Rigger
• Experience in heavy load lifting
• Mobile Crane licence will be an added advantage
• Ability to work at heights.
Plant Boilermaker
• Three (3) years’ experience as Process Plant Boilermaker Artisan
Plant Fitter
• Three (3) years’ post-Trade Test experience in a coal washing plant.
