MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST
(Paterson Grading DL)
ROLE, PURPOSE AND DELIVERABLES
Optimum Collieries requires the services of a hardworking, conscientious individual to safely and effectively manage the maintenance process plant section and to deliver value through optimising its repair and maintenance process.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications and experience
You will have the following exposure, competencies and qualifications required for success:
• National Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
• Recognised relevant Trade Test (Red Seal) in Mechanical or Electrical
• Five (5) years’ supervisory experience
• Exposure to maintenance practices in an opencast mining or process plant environment
• Knowledge of maintenance systems and SAP
• Post-maintenance qualification will be an added advantage
• Provincial (Code 08/EB) driver’s licence.
GENERAL
• The successful candidate must be able to obtain a certificate of medical fitness
• The appointment will be made in line with Optimum Coal’s transformation commitments and in alignment with the BBBEE Act (53/2003).
