SUDAN JOBS - Trade Marketing & Distribution Manager

Our client is a multinational firm in the FMCG sector and is seeking Sales professionals with experience in the Sudan territory.

For both these roles knowledge of Arabic is a prerequisite……..

1. Trade Marketing & Distribution Manager
Key accountabilities:
• The role of the TM&D Manager will be to provide Leadership through Planning, Objective setting, Implementation, Evaluation, Control and Management of both Internal and external stakeholders and take full ownership of infrastructure & processes aimed at Trade Marketing and Distribution excellence, with an overall objective of driving commercial results (short and long term) and maintain alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
• The TM&D Manager will need to provide leadership to the team by means of regular coaching and development to ensure sufficient succession planning is available and driving enthusiasm, change, motivation and passion to build a winning organisation.
• The TM&D Manager will also determine relevant trade changes and determine optimal resource allocation for Trade programmes/activities for Kenya and ensure the necessary infrastructure and processes to deliver brand and trade programmes to meet both business and customer segment requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Business degree in Business Administration / Marketing MBA or any other relevant qualifications
- At least 6 years' experience in a multinational and/or FMCG category
- Good understanding of Supply Chain & Excise/Duty regimes
- Understanding of Marketing Research tools and information analysis
- Ability to engage with high level internal & external partners/stakeholders
- Proven people leadership skills with ability to motivate and energise team
- Proven understanding of Regulation & Legal framework
-A good understanding of the Sudan Market
-Knowledge of Arabic language

2. Trade Marketing Representatives
Key accountabilities:
• With the objective of Growth, Productivity and Responsibility, the Trade Marketing Representative, will be responsible for driving continuous volume and value growth by optimising Trade Marketing fundamentals ( i.e. visibility, availability, merchandising, pricing, product freshness and OOS.)
• Will support the assigned Distributor(s) to achieve volume and distribution targets in order to maximise brand availability and visibility, through the execution of essential Trade- and Brand Marketing activities in line with the channel strategies, price strategies and the required customer service levels.
• Will aim to position the company as a bench mark supplier in the territory, within the allocated resources.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- A minimum first degree or its equivalent
- 2-3 years trade marketing/ field experience in an FMCG environment
- Need to speak Arabic
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, written and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good inter personal skills
