Evaluation Team Leader
International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a U.S.-based international development consulting company, is seeking an Evaluation Team Leader for a performance evaluation of a telecommunications project currently implemented in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Qualifications
- A college/university degree in relevant subject areas, preferably in International Development and/or Development Management with an emphasis on M&E.
- 8+ years of experience working in evaluation or monitoring and evaluation in developing countries, preferably including experience in sub-Saharan Africa.
- Must have a thorough understanding of impact evaluation and cost effectiveness assessments.
- Extensive participation working on donor-funded projects, preferably for USAID.
- Must have demonstrated skill and experience utilizing both qualitative and quantitative evaluation methodologies.
- Must have a proven record of excellent management, leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, including being an articulate speaker and sympathetic listener.
- Demonstrated ability: to assemble, quickly and effectively, and to manage a highly-skilled, evaluation team; to interact with and lead a broad range of governmental and non-governmental actors and institutions across sectors; and to implement detailed, organized, timely, accurate monitoring and evaluation programs.
- Experience in the telecommunications sector highly desirable.
