SADC - PROJECT SECRETARY/ADMIN ASSISTANT

Overall Purpose of the Job

To provide secretarial and admin support services to the African Development Bank/African Water Facility supported Water Projects.

Main duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing the office of the Project Implementation Unit
  • Servicing meetings
  • Typing and filing documents
  • Organises meetings and conferences logistics
  • Ensures smooth running of the Project Office
  • Sets and updates database for Projects Steering Committee members
  • Procure officer supplies, travel and courier services
  • Daily delievery of mail and documents timeously.
  • Daily driving and transporting staff and VIPs.

Qualifications

'O' Level Certificate plus Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Office Administration. A Valid SADC Class "B" Drivers License. 2 (two) years accident free driving experience.

Experience

5 years work experience in secretarial work or Office Administration

  • Time Management
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of French or Portuguese will be an added advantage.

Duration of the Contract

20 months

Remuneration

Euros 1500 per month (All inclusive package)
